Brakes

All brakes come with a 2 year, 24k mile nationwide parts and labor warranty

we recommend getting new rotors when you need brake pads due to rust build up, hotspots, glazing and warpage from heat on rotors. A new brake job will not feel as good unless you get rotors too. Please keep this in mind! NEW PADS ON OLD ROTORS DO NOT WORK WELL.

If your brakes are grinding— your brake caliper/s are being compromised- there is a 50/50 chance THE CALIPER will need to be replaced if brakes are already grinding. SOMETIMES brake HOSES WILL NEED TO BE REPLACED TOO.

we have seen calipers go bad after a brake job; If a brake caliper is bad it will be replaced during the brake replacement because the piston will not collaspe enough to install the new brake pads- sometimes calipers have an issue after brakes have been replaced.

**If you have locking lug nuts be sure to leave the wheel lock remover in the cup holder of the vehicle

Parking Brakes/Emergency brake- if you don’t regularly use your parking brake it can cause an issue. if you engage your parking brake and it gets stuck, its from lack of use. Parking brakes can be rebuilt and/or serviced, adjusted, or eliminated. the parking brake hardware and shoes can get seized from rust. The backing plates they secure to can rot out from rust. Some vehicles require the rear hubs have to be removed or the differential taken apart for parking brake repair. Sometimes the parking brake can be stuck on the inside of the rotor itself- needing to be serviced. Parking brakes are important to have for vehicles with manual transmissions or if you regularly tow with your vehicle.

Car Brakes

We sell brakes with ceramic brake pads and rotors with labor for $290-$310 + tax for front or rear brakes.

higher line cars- prices will vary for bmw, mercedes, volvo, infinity, mini, audi, lexus, etc.

SUV’s & Minivan Brakes

We sell brakes with ceramic brake pads and rotors with labor for $310-$330 + tax for front or rear brakes.

higher line vehicles may cost more for parts- volvo, bmw, mercedes, infinity, audi, lexus, etc.

Trucks- 1500s or F150s Brakes

We sell brakes with ceramic or semi-metallic brake pads and rotors with labor for starting at $345+ tax for front or rear brakes.

All other trucks please request a quote online and supply your vin or license plate number for proper pricing.

*Heavy duty frontline pads and rotors also available for trucks for a higher parts cost

Rear Drum Brakes

drum brakes are priced differently- cannot quote until drum brake system is open to see what is needed-drums/shoes/hardware/wheel cylinder- everything is not always needed for repair- no flat price for drum brakes

**Our sales tax rate is 7.5% in South Elgin, IL- sales tax is based off of parts prices, not labor
